Now that is all well and good to have a lot of websites but how do you make money from them? That’s exactly what I will be addressing here in the post! I will also give you some general tips to take away so that if you have websites already that are not performing well, you can make some simple adjustments and get them to become profitable.
Just before you get into actually monetizing your websites, you must first do adequate research and get to know your demographics very well. If you want to make money, you need to find the right products and give it to the people who need them. This is very important because the wrong offer in front of the wrong people will make you know money.
How do you get information about people that would be interested in what you website has to offer?
It’s really simple actually! All you need to do is to look for the ‘authority websites‘ already in your niche that gets a lot of traffic. (Note: The authority websites are the ones that have hundreds of pages and are already ranking for various keywords in your niche.) Once you have these websites, you can plug their URL into Quantcast.com and find out a ton of information about the people that visits these websites.
Some of the information you’ll get include: Age range of the visitors, gender of the visitors, ethnicity and a ton of other stuff. See image below for example using a weight loss website.
As you can see from the pic above, you can get quite a lot of information about people that would be interested in your Passive Niche Profits websites even before you create them.
Passive Niche Profits: Best Monetization Method?
From the information you gained above, you can determine exactly what offer would convert best for your targeted demographics for your passive niche profits websites. Even though you would have had a ton of valuable info thus far, I should also state that at this point you are still testing since you don’t know for sure how your audience will react towards certain products. So after testing a few products, you can then decide on a winner.
Passive Niche Profits Monetization Strategies:
Below are some of the different ways you can monetize your passive niche profits websites.
1. Google Adsense: this is where you would sign up for the Google Adsense Affiliate Program and allow Google to place advertisements on your website. So every time your visitor clicks on one of these ads you’ll get pay a fraction of what Google is Charging their advertisers to run the ad. If you use this method for your passive niche profits websites, you’ll need to test different ad placements (adhering to the Adsense TOS) to see what gives you the best CTR (click through rate) and thus make you more money.
2. Affiliate Products (digital or physical) – There are tons of affiliate networks with some good affiliate products in various niches. You can choose from a wide array of products to see what converts best. Unlike Adsense where you would get paid per click, for affiliate products you would get paid per sale you refer. Again, depending on the niche of your passive niche profits websites, you may find that digital products may convert better than physical or visa versa.
3. CPA (Cost Per Action) Offers – The good thing about these offers is that at times they can convert very easily because most times they don’t require your visitor to do very much for you to get paid. For example, some offers only require that your visitor submit their name and email address, their zip code or just sign up for a free trial offer. Depending on the offer, you can get anywhere from $1 per lead to over $100+. You can try different offers on your passive niche profits site depending on how much traffic your sites are getting.
4. Sell Your Own Products - While you can make a lot of money from affiliate products, another way to earn even more is to sell your own products. Since you know what makes your visitors tick and what they would be interested in, you can create a product using that information. Note if you can’t create the product yourself, you can always outsource that task to person who are more capable and more knowledgeable in that area.
5. Build An Email List - This model is more of a long term business model. Instead of trying to sell products right away on your passive niche profits websites, you can give away something for free to build your email subscriber list. This way, you will be able to promote various offers to the same people over and over and make a lot more in the long run than if you were trying to sell something right away.
